“Forever is composed of nows.” ~Emily Dickinson
We are coming to the end of week two of this 30-Day mindfulness program. Are you here? No…are you really HERE? Reading these words, sitting and knowing you’re sitting, breathing and aware that you are breathing?
Today, I’m challenging all of us to be in the moment, as much as possible. To give ourselves permission to live in the moments of our lives, and find the calm peace that lives there, inside each precious, fleeting moment. Even the moments that seem insignificant are full of miracles to observe, and live into.
Today, when you eat your food taste you food. Feel gratitude for the living things that gave their existence for your benefit. When you take a shower, feel the sensation of warm water on your skin. When you’re driving your car, drive with full awareness of the process of driving.
Forever is composed of nows…don’t miss this one.
And now the practice of yoga begins…
Namaste.
